Although it is about to become a future star thanks to its neighbouring resort, Sochi, having been chosen for the Olympics, Krasaya Polyana remains a small unknown resort for the time being, with equipment that reminds us of the soviet era. However, what this resort lacks in modern chairlifts, it makes up in snow. In fact, Krasnaya gets a gold medal for “snow”. Here, more than anywhere else, quantity and quality go together. Every year there are metres and metres of powder, snow made humid by the neighbouring Black sea which makes it very stable. Enough to please any freerider lacking “white gold” back at home without having to empty their bank account.
