Going on an expedition in the heart of the Arctic Ocean above 80° North latitude is already an exceptional adventure. But when this is undertaken on a comfortable cruiser, you suddenly realise that you are part of a truly out-of-the-ordinary adventure. In the soft light of a midnight sun, the outings on Zodiacs into the depths of the fjords of the Svalbard archipelago allow you to approach the icebergs and tongue-shaped glaciers. With a bit of luck, one might even have the chance to meet a Morse or a polar fox. But the icing on the cake will be without doubt the much awaited encounter with the king of the North : the polar bear.
