South of Corsica at the altitude of 8000 metres and a temperature of minus 40 degrees. Thierry Demonfort, marine commando, combat swimmer and the only test skydiver in the French marine is released from the Atlantique 2, a marine patrol plane, wearing an oxygen mask. His aim is to complete the first ever crossing of the Bonifacio strait skydiving. 45 minutes later, he lands in mainland Sardinia. This is a high risk flight above the Mediterranean sea, in the grand tradition of aeronautic and maritime adventures and which will give valuable strategic, medical and technical information to the army.
